Can I use Cadence without a subscription?

The editor keeps local Markdown readable without an active plan. Team review, recovery, and administration stop when the subscription ends.

Does a reviewer need a paid seat?

Yes, if they open documents or leave review notes in Cadence. Someone reviewing the same file only in GitHub or GitLab does not.

Is there a free tier?

No. There is a 30-day trial that does not require a card. We would rather state the price than subsidize a free plan with product limits.

What happens if our headcount changes?

Monthly plans adjust on the next invoice. Annual plans credit removed seats and prorate added seats against the remaining term.
